mission statement

This week at MC, one part of the mission statement really stood out. It was referring to their employing faculty who are dedicated to teaching/ learning and advising students. This as actually been seen since the beginning of the school year, but lately I was really could really tell.
This week, aside from the usual problems and stresses of life, was filled with tests, papers and assignments that seemed to have no end. I wondered how I would make it through. However, with willing teachers and understanding faculty, I not only survived, but I still somewhat have my sanity. I was extremely worried about my paper in English, but from discussion groups in class to conferences with my teacher, the stress is actually beginning to lesson. Also, the writing center on the third floor of Jennings has proved to be a life-saver as I have attempted to revise my paper.
Although classes are hard and assignments are sometimes tough, with the faculty and staff here at MC, I know that each week can be a success story. I give thank to MC for its excellent faculty selection and for making a quality education possible. Also, I give thanks to the staff and faculty here for making my college experience better, one week at a time.
